ABOUT THE FILM
Creative Players are proud to release, ‘Local Pride’, a short film featuring Swindon Supermarine FC, a non-league football club playing at step three of the English football league system.
The fly-on-the-wall style film follows a match-day, through the eyes of the people that support the club.
We find out just what non-league football means to those involved in the game and how clubs like Supermarine, really are the fabric of our national game.
For the officials and supporters of Swindon Supermarine, it's more than just football. It's family. It's local pride.

FROM THE DIRECTOR
IT MEANS MORE.
There's something undeniably special about non-league football, the people make the game what it is, and 'Local Pride' is a celebration of the individuals that make Swindon Supermarine FC a truly family club.

Clubs like Supermarine play a huge role in the community and often provide people with far more than just 90 minutes of football. For some it's an escape from their everyday lives, for others it's the chance to socialise, when perhaps otherwise they'd be on their own.

This film really is only a tiny snapshot of just what this football club means to people but the overriding sense of Local Pride, is clear to see.
